Do I wanna know?- Arctic Monkeys(2013) Music Video. Directed by Danny WILSON UK:Blinkink. Available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpOSxM0rNPM . [Last accessed: 11/9/14]

-I would pastiche the way that in this video they used animation to entertain the viewer/listener.

-The purpose of this video is to entertain the viewer while they are listening to the music, the video entertains by using animation to put emphasis on the lyrics. This is an animated music video, i can tell because there is no live action in the trailer it it all in black and white picture animations . This style music is part of the Indie/Rock genre, I know this because the artist 'Arctic Monkeys' are a big band in this genre and have dominated the genre for a long time now, but my main way of telling is from the lyrics, they are quite abstract but they are telling a story about love this is usually a key facter to indie music and the rock part is the instrumental in the song.

Waiting all night- Rudimental(2013) Music Video. Directed by Nez KHAMMAL UK: Unknown. Available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M97vR2V4vTs . [Last accessed: 11/9/14]

-I would pastiche the way that the music video was based around the life of a real person and what happened to them.

- The purpose of this music video is to both entertain and inform the viewer, they entertain the viewer by presenting an interesting story and they are informing about the dangers of stunts, this is very intriging because it is unusual that a music video would mix this two purposes. It takes the form of a storyline type music video because it describes a story of a person and their accident that changed their life, this too is unusual because their aren't very many music videos out there that use a persons narrative to advertise their song. This music is part of the pop genre.

#Thatsnotme- Skepta featuering JME(2014) Music Video. Directed by unknown. UK: Capitol. Available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyONbqggasY [Last accessed: 11/9/14]

 - I would copy the idea of the overlaying of the DJ and his decks while Skepta's rapping in the background.

- The purpose of this music video is to entertain by showing how they make their music, where they came from and how they went from nothing to something, it is for this purpose that Skepta became so popular in the grime scene. This music video takes the form of an edited video which overlays the original video to create a unique and psychedelic look. The under-laying video shows the area and neighborhood that the artist is representing while the overlaying is of the artist and his DJ making the music on his decks. The decks are made out of bear boxes and old grocery storage boxes this shows them to not care about the latest equipment and only cares about the music, all of these aspects represent the artist to be a down to earth artist who loves what his does and doesn't do it for the money . This music is part of the grime/ hip-hop/ rap genre this is a very popular mix of genres because they mix together very well.
To Many Man- Boy Better Know(2009) Music Video. Directed by unknown. UK: BBK. Available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKDixFhvCAU [last accessed:11/9/14]

- I would take the idea of the dark, grimy, down to the streets look if i was to make a music video.

-The purpose of this music video is to entertain by demonstrating the kind of life the artist lives on a day today basis, this aspect of the artists video attracts a large audience because its a glamorous life style and suggesting the cliche stereotype. This music videos form has quite a rough, raw look this is a common look for hip-hop/ rap videos. The genre for this music video is grime/rap, i can tell this from the music video because it has the stereotypical look for the rap genre, but also the music style is unique to the grime genre which is mainly more about the lyrical aspects instead of the music, where as the hip hop is genre is more of about both the music and the lyrics.

Game Over- Tinchy Stryder featuring Giggs, Professer Green, Tinie Tempah, Devlin, Example and Chipmunk(2010) Music Video Directed by unknown. UK: Take Over Entertainment. Available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wpCf0FsZKQ [last accessed: 11/9/14]

- I would pastiche the way that they made the video look high quality by using lots of editing.

-The purpose of this music video is to entertain, this is done by quite a bland video to make the listener concentrate on the music, this shows their is a lot of meaning in the words that they are saying. The form for this is that its a music video. The genre for this is hip-hop/ rap genre, the main factor of a lot of this video is the stereotypical hand gestures that come with the genre of the rap, this is because most rappers are trying to express themselves through the hand gestures, it could also in some cases connote to the artist being aggressive or frustrated.
